Enjoy the best of home hospitality and beware, you may not wish to leave! Oldfield House is a fine early 19th century Grade 2 listed building set in the tranquil estate village of Snelston and surrounded by idyllic countryside.
The historic market town of Ashbourne is very close to the beautiful Peak District National Park and is approximately 3 miles away.
About the hosts
Edmund and Sue have lived in Oldfield House for nearly twenty five years and will always be at home to greet their guests on arrival and help them with their luggage.
Sue, a Cordon Bleue trained cook, ran a successful catering business for many years before devoting her talents to offering guests the Wolsey Lodge bed and breakfast experience. Edmund, now retired, spends much of his time in the large garden which contains many beautiful old roses and a productive kitchen garden.
